Pierogi Maker- Veselka Commissary

Veselka is seeking cooks to join our growing pierogi team!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Ensures food quality and standards are compliant and maintained by the company standards of excellence;

Maintains the sufficient pars of responsible dishes needed for inventory of all three locations and national shipping;

Maintains safety standards, neatness and sanitation of work areas and food prep items;

Ensures that all kitchen operational duties are fulfilled on a daily basis in a timely and efficient manner;

Follows proper kitchen/facility opening and closing procedures

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift 50lbs and work on one’s feet for an extended period of time;

Communication skills working in a team environment;

NYC DOH food handler’s permit card and/or ServSafe is a plus
