Material Handler & Shipping/Receiving Clerk

The Shipping & Receiving / Material Handler is responsible for coordinating shipping, receiving, and inventory management to support SilPac’s operations. This role ensures that materials are accurately handled, delivered, and documented to maintain a smooth workflow and ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate shipping and receiving of materials.

Prepare, load, and deliver materials and customer orders as required.

Perform inventory audits and maintain accurate records.

Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (experience preferred).

Report and resolve shipping discrepancies with the purchasing group.

Follow established policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Skills, Experience, and Abilities

Experience in shipping & receiving

Experience in FedEX, UPS, freight forward, international shipments

High school diploma or GED required.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Forklift experience is a plus.

Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 lbs or more.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

Ability to read and write in English.

Work Environment

Must maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
