Part-Time Collector – Flexible Weekday Schedule (15 hrs/week)
American Media Partners, Ltd. is seeking a part-time collector to assist with light account follow-up and payment coordination. This is a low-pressure position ideal for someone organized, professional, and comfortable making outbound calls to existing clients.
Position Details:
Approx. 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Flexible daytime schedule
Requirements:
-Client Contact: Reach out to customers by phone, email, or letter to request payment. Maintain professional
communication that preserves the business relationship.
-Account Review: Monitor client accounts for missed or partial payments. Identify delinquent invoices
based on aging reports.
-Negotiation: Arrange payment plans or settlements when appropriate. Escalate severe cases to legal if standard recovery fails.
-Record-Keeping: Document every contact attempt and payment promise.
Collaboration: Coordinate with billing department to resolve disputes, verify invoice
accuracy, and keep the account current once resolved.
Cash Flow Support: Primary goal is to shorten the company’s average days-to-collect and maintain
predictable cash inflow without damaging customer goodwill.

Basic computer and record-keeping skills
Prior experience in collections, billing, or customer accounts preferred but not required
Compensation:
Hourly pay based on experience, with opportunity for increased hours or permanent placement.
