Cook needed at manufacturing facility (production cook)

Inspired by a family recipe, Port City Pretzels handcrafts the finest seasoned pretzel in four delicious flavors. Port City Pretzels is a rapidly growing B2B & B2C company, whose pretzels can be found across the country and on our website. Position need not have cooking experience but must have the willingness and ability to learn. Prior kitchen experience is a plus. This position requires accountability to work independently ensuring that safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. 

Responsibilities:

-Follow seasoning recipes and instructions accurately according to production needs

-Determine production and ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency.

-Utilize handheld kitchen appliances, and ovens.

-Maintain overall cleanliness of kitchen and baking utensils (Dishwasher)

-Awareness of inventory and supply levels

-Maintain exceptional personal hygiene as well as safety and work standards

Requirements:

-Comfortable working with kitchen appliances

-Reliable source of transportation

-Early Morning availability Mon-Fri

-Detail oriented

-Well-organized

-Help with other employees

-Maintain a positive attitude

-Care about the product and pride in their work
