Sheet metal company in Macedon, NY. We are looking for hard working and skilled individual to run our Amada 4K C02 laser machine.

Responsibilities:

- Organize jobs based on due date and shop operations.

- Run various jobs through the laser machine throughout the day.

- Run various jobs through the automated laser system (night runs).

- Keep the remnants neat and organized.

- Keep the material racks neat and organized.

- Keep the laser area neat and organized at all times.

- Maintain the machine (lubrication, etc.)

- Interface with Amada technical support personnel to debug any issues that arise with the machine.

- Various other tasks that may arise in a sheet metal shop (taping, deburring, shaking parts, filing, etc.)

Applicant Requirements:

- Strong organization skills.

- Computer savvy.

- Metal working skills including, but not limited to: taping, filing, drilling, de-burring, counter-sinking, sanding, etc.

- Ability to tell different materials apart (stainless, steel, galvanneal, galvanized, aluminum).

- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Desired Skills:

- 6mo+ Experience running a metal cutting CO2 laser machine or experience running other types of CNC equipment.

- Fork-lift driving experience.
