Waste Water Operator-Manufacturer

Pettit Staffing is seeking a Waste Water Operator for a manufacturing plant.

Graveyard opportunity. Position may require overtime.

This is a temporary to hire opportunity with a comprehensive benefit package after 90 days.

The ideal candidate may have some exposure or experience in water treatment and wastewater operations, along with a strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment

- Conduct routine inspections of plant equipment

- Monitor and adjust chemical feed rates

- Perform data collection and analysis to ensure compliance with regulations

- Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed

- Utilize logic controllers for process control

- Operate heavy equipment such as tankers

- Conduct plumbing tasks as required

- Assist in the construction of new wastewater treatment facilities

Experience

-Some exposure or Experience in wastewater treatment operations

- Ability to analyze data and make sound decisions based on findings

- Proficiency in equipment repair and maintenance

Nice-to-have:

- Familiarity with logic controllers

- Experience operating heavy equipment
