We are an established commercial cabinet shop specializing in the manufacturing of architectural millwork, casework, and custom interior elements for hotels and restaurants nationwide. We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with a strong background in woodworking to join our growing team.

Qualifications

Proficiency with Microvellum, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite required.

Minimum 3 years of CNC programming or operation experience in a woodworking or millwork environment (or equivalent combination of training and experience).

Hands-on experience working with solid wood, MDF, plywood, particle board, and veneers.

In-depth understanding of architectural casework materials, engineering, and fabrication processes.

Strong knowledge of both production and custom cabinet assembly methods.

Excellent problem-solving, mathematical, and systems analysis skills.

Ability to independently troubleshoot machining operations, tooling, and CNC program issues.

Skilled in CNC setup, tooling selection, and responding to machine malfunctions.

Exceptional attention to detail, precision, and time management.

Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret technical blueprints and shop drawings to design CNC programs and set up machinery for production.

Create and modify CNC programs to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Input product designs into CAD/CAM and Microvellum systems and verify through simulation or test runs.

Select and load appropriate cutting tools and materials for each job.

Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality.

Determine the sequence of operations, perform calculations, and analyze job orders to optimize workflow.

Collaborate closely with the drafting team, shop foreman, and production leadership to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.

Maintain compliance with all company safety policies and industry standards.

Train and support new CNC operators as needed.
