Warehouse Associate
Job Summary
We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role involves receiving, organizing, picking, packing, and shipping inventory used in access control and security products. Forklift experience is preferred.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments and materials.
Safely operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts.
Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to packing lists and shipping standards.
Maintain proper inventory organization, labeling, and stock rotation.
Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution.
Create shipping labels and process outbound shipments via UPS, FedEx, and other carriers.
Ensure all outgoing orders are packaged securely to prevent shipping damage.
Keep work areas clean and follow established warehouse safety procedures.
Meet daily accuracy, quality, and productivity goals.
Requirements and Qualifications
Previous warehouse, logistics, or order-fulfillment experience preferred.
Forklift experience required (certification is a plus).
Experience with shipping software (UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, etc.) is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong work ethic with consistent attendance and punctuality.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform standing, walking, and repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Basic computer skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
