Iron Workers Needed ASAP

Job Title: Iron Worker

Location: Fort Johnson, Louisiana

Full-time: Monday to Friday, 7 am to 5 pm | Overtime may be available

Hourly Pay: $30 per hour

MGR Workforce is hiring experienced Iron Workers for a long-term project at a military base in Louisiana. We're looking for reliable tradespeople who can handle structural and reinforcing work with skill and attention to safety.

Responsibilities (not limited to):

Perform structural steel work including connecting, welding, and installing beams, columns, and decking

Read and follow blueprints, site plans, and layout marks

Place and secure rebar as required

Operate standard ironworking tools such as torches, welders, grinders, and cutting equipment

Work at heights using proper fall protection

Follow all site and safety procedures

Requirements:

Proven experience of minimum 2-3 years as an Iron Worker (structural, reinforcing, or mixed experience)

Strong welding and connecting skills

Ability to work safely at heights and in all weather conditions

Able to pass mandatory security screening for access to the military base

Any convictions will be rejected by the base

Reliable transportation

Able to work Monday to Friday, 7 am to 5 pm, with overtime when available

Must have own PPEs such as Hard hat, Hi-vis safety vest, Steel toe boots, Safety glasses and safety gloves

Must have Fall protection certification to work on heights.
