Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for residents and staff. The Housekeeper will perform a variety of cleaning tasks and may assist with laundry and other related duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards.
- Dust and mop floors; clean windows, mirrors, and surfaces.
- Change bed linens; restock supplies as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly.
- Follow health and safety regulations and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to residents and inquiries promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and a positive work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
