Accountant - CPA Firm -Tax Experience Required On-Site, Sherman Oaks

Position Overview: We’re looking for an experienced Accountant with tax preparation and bookkeeping skills to join our team on-site in Sherman Oaks as part-time, per diem or full time Tax Preparer – Accountant - CPA - EA. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of transactional work and hands-on collaboration with clients and colleagues in a professional office setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Full-charge bookkeeping for multiple small to mid-sized clients

Prepare and review individual and small business tax returns (1040, 1120, 1065, etc.)

Reconcile bank and credit card accounts

Maintain general ledgers and journal entries

Support senior accountants and CPAs during tax season

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in bookkeeping and tax preparation (Ideally with previous experience in a CPA firm)

Proficient in QuickBooks (Desktop and Online); familiarity with Lacerte

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations is a plus

Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized

Excellent communication and time-management skills

Must be available to work on-site in our Sherman Oaks office (no remote work)
