Full Time Route Driver

Immediate opening for a Full Time Box Truck driver based out of Norfolk NE.

USPS Bulk mail delivery between Norfolk and South Sioux City NE.

Route runs Monday through Saturday. Split shift 4:00 AM - 7:00 AM. Layover in South Sioux City.

Afternoon route returns from SSC to Norfolk at 4:30 PM.

$195 / day.

No CDL required, but 2 years driving experience is preferred we provide the vehicle (and necessary training.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Safely operate vehicle in all weather conditions on a regularly scheduled route to pick up and transport bulk mail between postal facilities. (This is not door to door mail delivery.)

2. Some trucks may require the safe operation of a lift gate or ramp.

3. Sort, lift and push moderate to heavy loads of mail and packages up to 75 lbs.

4. Operate truck following specific time schedules and rules of safety.

5. Ability to operate handheld scanner device.

6. 2 years driving experience preferred.
