Experienced Diesel Mechanic Wanted – Full-Time (Jersey City)

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Salary: $1,200–$1,600 per week (salary-based, depending on experience)

A growing logistics operation based in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to maintain and service our internal fleet.

The current fleet includes:

6 Freightliner Cascadia day cab semi-trucks (with more trucks to be added soon)

1 Yard Switcher (Yard Mule)

15 Forklifts

67 Chassis

✅ Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on trucks, yard equipment, and forklifts

Diagnose mechanical issues and complete necessary repairs in a timely manner

Maintain accurate service logs and documentation

Ensure compliance with DOT and safety standards

Respond to urgent repairs and breakdowns

Maintain a clean and organized workspace
