The Representative Payee Manager provides benefit payment management of the Social Security or Supplemental Security Income benefits of the agency’s clients. The Representative Payee must work closely with all agency departments to maintain accurate financial records and is accountable for account responsibilities on behalf of the agency’s clients. The representative payee responds to any requests for action or information and reports and must maintain confidentiality of information at all times.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Two (2) years’ previous clerical/administrative experience required.

2. Previous experience as representative payee preferred.

3. Proficiency in a variety of computer software preferred.

4. Knowledge of preparation of records, reports, and correspondence.

5. Must be able to work flexible hours/locations as necessary. Regular attendance is a requirement of the position.

6. Current drug screen and TB test with negative results.

7. Must pass NM Caregivers Criminal History Screening.
