Georgian - Immigration Paralegal
Growing NYC immigration law firm is seeking an experienced Georgian-fluent Immigration Paralegal to join our team. We work heavily with asylum matters and complex immigration cases, and we are looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and professional.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and file I-589 asylum applications, affidavits, and supporting evidence.
Draft detailed client declarations and country conditions research.
Assist attorneys with asylum interviews, USCIS filings, and defensive asylum cases in Immigration Court.
Communicate with Georgian-speaking clients, gather documents, and maintain organized case files.
Support with motions, EOIR filings, and other immigration applications as needed.
Requirements:
Full fluency in Georgian and English.
1+ years of immigration paralegal experience, preferably with asylum work.
Strong writing, organization, and case-management skills.
Ability to communicate clearly with clients and work in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
Competitive salary up to $90,000+, depending on experience, plus benefits and growth opportunities.
