Construction Lead - container homes

We are looking for a Construction Lead to assist with construction on new building developments and perform maintenance and repairs at our existing properties. We are building homes out of shipping containers so experience with containers is a plus. After they are built we will rent them out.

This position requires a broad range of skills with the ability to do some of everything, such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc. The ideal candidate will have the knowledge and experience to manage their projects from start to finish, with good time management skills, and ability to prioritize tasks and troubleshoot issues efficiently.

Responsibilities:

-Execute construction projects for new housing developments

-Perform repairs or improvements to keep properties in good condition

-Regularly visit properties to assess and document the condition

-Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment and supplies

-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes

Experience:

-5+ years of relevant experience, such as handyman, skilled trades, general contractor

-Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in supervising projects.

-Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

-Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
