Needed - Flatbed Driver

As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver at Temco Logistics, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer, delivering a variety of home improvement supplies such as drywall, building materials, and lumber to customer sites. You will manually unload products and ensure timely deliveries as part of your assigned route schedule. Our drivers are not just drivers; they are the face of Temco to our customers, building strong relationships through a positive, friendly attitude, and understanding customer operations to meet and exceed expectations.

MUST have Requirements:

Minimum age of 21 years

Valid Class A CDL license

3-5 years verifiable recent CDL A experience (1 year Flatbed experience required)

Flexibility in schedule to meet operational needs

Current DOT Medical Card

Must pass a DOT urine drug screen and physical agility test

Ability to manually unload products and lift a minimum of 70 lbs

Able to work every Saturday

Forklift certification or Moffett experience HUGE PLUS

Excellent driving record with no major violations in the last 12 months, and no more than 2 major violations in the last 3 years

No failed drug or alcohol tests while holding a CDL A (NO SAP Programs)

Clean criminal background check

Responsibilities

Operate flatbed trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently.

Load and unload freight using forklifts, moffett's and other equipment, ensuring proper securing of cargo.

Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.

Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.

Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
