Pay: $15 per survey (up to 150 surveys) + bonuses for hitting targets
Type: Temporary / Contract (2–3 weeks)
Hours: Flexible, daytime + some weekends ideal

About the Role
We are looking for an energetic, bilingual (Spanish-English) recruiter to engage the Latin American community in Los Angeles and invite them to participate in a short, 5-minute survey about sending money abroad.
You’ll be working both in-person at community locations to distribute the survey link. Participants will receive an immediate $5 cash incentive upon completion.
Your work will directly help shape a marketing campaign launching later this year.
What You’ll Do
Recruit participants in high-traffic community spots such as:
Northgate González Markets, Vallarta Supermarkets, El Super, Superior Grocers
Metro stations (MacArthur Park, Union Station)
Remittance agent locations (Western Union, Ria, Sigue, La Nacional)
Community events, soccer games, flea markets, and churches
Approach people in a friendly, respectful way and explain the 5-minute 100% anonymous survey.
Assist participants in completing the survey on a tablet, phone, or laptop. You are required to use your own tablet for this work, but we can reimburse you for any associated usage costs (we cannot reimburse for the tablet).
Distribute a $5 cash incentive immediately after completion.
Track your daily recruitment numbers, locations visited, and number of completed surveys in a simple log.
What We’re Looking For
Must have a tablet or computer you can use to collect the data from survey-takers
Fluent in Spanish; English (spoken; reading/writing is a plus)
Outgoing personality and comfortable starting conversations with strangers
Existing ties to the Latin American community in Los Angeles a big plus
Organized and dependable — able to track and report progress daily
Prior experience in community outreach, canvassing, or field research preferred, not required
Access to transportation to move between locations
