Part-Time Medical Receptionist
We are seeking a disciplined, detail-oriented Part-Time Medical Front Desk Receptionist to support our high-volume clinic setting. This role requires reliability, strong time management, and the ability to perform consistently in a fast-paced environment. If you have some experience, and don’t mind a busy, fast-paced environment, you might be a great fit.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage a heavy volume of phone calls and appointment scheduling
Verify insurance, collect copays, and review required documentation
Maintain accurate patient records and update EMR systems without error
Support clinical workflow and communicate effectively with staff
Uphold front desk procedures and clinic policies at all times
Perform late-shift duties, including closing tasks and daily reconciliation
Maintain composure and efficiency during peak patient volumes
What We’re Looking For:
Consistent attendance and adherence to schedule
Prior front desk, medical office, or administrative and customer service experience. Willing to train the right person
Proven ability to handle high workloads and time-sensitive tasks
Punctual, dependable, and available for required late-shift schedule 2:30pm to 6:30pm and 3:30pm to 7:30pm
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions, adapt to procedures, and learn quickly
Professional communication skills, both in person and over the phone
Able to work alone with little to no supervision
Strong multitasking skills
Calm and professional under pressure
Basic computer knowledge and office equipment; EMR experience is a plus
