Storeroom/Driver Pick up assist
Location: The LittleStore, 242 Canterbury Street Worcester, MA 01603
Reports to: Store Manager
Position Overview
The LittleStore is seeking a reliable and energetic Stockroom/Driver Assistant to support our mission of serving the community through donated goods. This role combines stockroom responsibilities with driving assistance for donation pickups. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Donation Pickup & Delivery
o Assist with loading and unloading donations from donor locations.
o Safely transport items to the LittleStore using company vehicles.
o Provide courteous and professional interaction with donors during pickups.
Stockroom Operations
o Receive, sort, and organize incoming donations.
o Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly stockroom environment.
o Assist with inventory management and restocking sales floor as needed.
o Ensure items are handled with care and prepared for resale.
Physical Requirements
o Ability to lift and carry heavy furniture & boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
o Follow Instructions
o Comfortable with bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
o Operate hand trucks, dollies, and other equipment safely.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff and volunteers.
Dependable, punctual, and committed to the mission of the LittleStore.
Prior experience in retail, warehouse, or stockroom operations preferred but not required.
Schedule & Compensation
Full-time hours available.
Flexible scheduling to accommodate donation pickups.
Compensation commensurate with experience.
