Full-Time Part-Time Per Diem

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a caregiver with Allera Homecare Services, you will provide personalized support to clients in their homes. Your role helps clients remain comfortable, safe, and independent. You will assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), Additional ADLs (IADLs), companionship, and overall support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)

Assist with mobility and transfers (including assistive devices)

Support with ADLs & IADLs such as:

– Meal prep & feeding assistance

– Light housekeeping & laundry

– Medication reminders

– Shopping, errands, and appointments

Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities

Observe, document, and report changes in client condition

Communicate professionally with clients, families, and staff

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent

1 year caregiving experience preferred (facility or home care)

Ability to provide care with dignity and respect

Strong communication skills; English proficiency required

Reliable, patient, and compassionate

Physical ability to lift/pivot/transfer 50+ lbs

Experience with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, or Hoyer Lifts is a plus

Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation

Able to pass a background check

CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 14 days
