Event Assistant/ Marketing – Leading NYC Events & Marketing Agency
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are a top New York City events, marketing, and production agency producing high-level corporate, social, nonprofit, and celebrity events. We are looking for an energetic, smart, friendly Event Sales Coordinator who loves events and wants a long-term career in the industry.
This role is perfect for someone who:

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Event Sales & Client Development
Respond to inbound event inquiries quickly and professionally
Support outreach efforts: calls, emails, texts, follow-ups
Conduct site visits and represent the agency with confidence
Build and nurture client relationships
Assist in moving inquiries through the pipeline and driving bookings
(You do NOT need formal “sales experience”, strong communication and people skills matter most. We will train.)
Event Planning & Coordination Support
Assist senior event producers with planning and execution
Attend events as needed for on-site support
Maintain smooth, organized communication with clients
Manage timelines, logistics, and internal coordination
Help ensure clients receive an exceptional experience
Marketing & Creative Support (Plus Skills)
Not required, but a major advantage if you can:
Create simple graphics in Canva
Assist with captions, social posts, or light content
Write or edit basic marketing copy
Contribute ideas for client service, outreach, and branding
REQUIREMENTS
Required
1–2+ years in events, hospitality, customer service, or client-facing roles
Strong communication skills (verbal + written)
Positive, friendly, outgoing personality
Sharp organization and ability to multitask
Strong follow-through and work ethic
Comfortable working evenings/weekends
Desire for a career in the events industry not just a job
Team-oriented, dependable, resourceful
Strong Pluses
Experience booking or coordinating events (corporate, social, nightlife)
Experience with Bar/Bat Mitzvah events
Canva or basic graphic design familiarity
Social media fluency
Strong writing skills for emails, proposals, captions
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$50,000–$65,000 base salary (depending on experience)
