Kitchen lead/ experienced cooks needed for high volume kitchen!
Schedule: Fridays- Wednesdays PM Shift 2pm-12am (5 day schedule)
Pay Based on experience ( Paid Weekly)
Must be authorized to work in US ( Must Have US BANK ACCOUNT)
Job includes preparing, cooking, and plating meals.
Including proteins, vegetables, sauces, and occasionally desserts.
3-5 different meals daily. ( Rotated weekly, various cuisine types)
High Volume production in industrial kitchen.
Shared kitchen with other teams.
Preparation includes, washing. chopping, and cooking of vegetables. Breaking down meats, cooking, and proper cooling procedures. Making sauces and other dish components from scratch.
Dish variety and amount varies daily based on pre-sales.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1 year professional kitchen experience.
- Must be able to accurately and efficiently follow recipes and ingredient quantities.
-Must have or be willing to obtain food safety certificate. All kitchen and food safety regulations must be followed.
-Must have personal chef's knife, non-slip shoes, and kitchen attire.
-Must be able to stand entirety of shift and able to lift 50 lbs +
- Must have reliable transportation.
-Fluent in Spanish and English.
Kitchen Lead Position
must have 3 years of kitchen experience, fluent in English and Spanish, have strong team leading skills, have knowledge of recipe writing and conversion, access to all job related apps and emails, and have a creative and ambitious mindset when it comes to food and high volume production!
