Join Our Team! The YMCA of Middle Tennessee is looking for a Camp Cook to help create an enjoyable dining experience for campers and guests at the Joe C. Davis Outdoor Center. If you love cooking, serving others, and working in a fun, mission-driven environment, this is the role for you!
What You’ll Do
o Prepare and cook meals for campers and special events
o Assist with food prep, service, and cleanup
o Maintain kitchen and dining hall cleanliness
o Monitor supplies and help with inventory
o Follow health and safety guidelines
o Provide excellent customer service to guests
o Support special dietary needs when requested
What We’re Looking For
o Passion for serving others and supporting the YMCA mission
o Strong communication and teamwork skills
o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
o Minimum age: 18
o High school diploma or equivalent preferred
o Kitchen experience preferred
o Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
Certifications Required
o CPR/First Aid/AED within 30 days of hire
o New Hire Orientation before first shift
Schedule Seasonal or year-round opportunities available
Pay Range starts at $15 per hour (or more depending on experience)
