Job description:

We are looking for a drama teacher who wants to work with children in a group setting. Students will range in age from 4 to 13 years old. Classes will have 8 - 12 students at a time.

Job Description:

Choosing an appropriate play or musical each school year or each semester

Casting students in the roles

Helping students understand the play or musical, and guiding them in acting their roles

Managing the many backstage elements of a theatrical production, including lighting, costumes and set props, sound and stage management and production

Holding rehearsals and producing the play or musical for the student body and community to enjoy

The creation and management of a positive and productive classroom with diverse students

Candidate is also required to drive our school vehicle to pickup students and bring them back to the school.

Prior teaching experience is necessary.

Job Type: Drama Teacher - Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week

4 hour shift. After school. Monday to Friday: 2:15 - 6:15 pm

Teaching experience of 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute.
