Maintenance & Repair Technician

We manage hundreds of apartments across New York City and are seeking a reliable, experienced Maintenance, Repair & Painting Technician to join our team full-time. This role requires strong hands-on skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently in occupied residential units.

Key Responsibilities

Perform bathroom repairs including toilets, sinks, faucets, shower heads, drains, caulking, and minor tile work

Complete sheetrock patching, wall repairs, and surface preparation

Execute full and touch-up interior painting of apartments and common areas

Handle general apartment maintenance such as doors, locks, hinges, and minor carpentry

Identify and report issues requiring licensed contractors

Document completed work by uploading before-and-after photos and job updates through our maintenance app

Maintain clear, timely communication via text and photo updates from job sites

Qualifications & Requirements

Must have a reliable car or pickup truck

Proven experience in bathroom repairs, sheetrock, and interior painting

Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Must own required tools

Comfortable using mobile applications to log work and upload photos

Highly reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently

Professional and respectful while working in tenant-occupied apartments
