CEI Senior Inspector

AECOM is actively seeking a highly skilled CEI Senior Inspector to join our team and support ongoing construction engineering and inspection efforts in the Fort Myers, FL area. This role will play a critical part in ensuring that major transportation and infrastructure projects are delivered in accordance with FDOT standards, contract requirements, and overall project objectives.Responsible for performing highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layoutMarking, and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field testsCoordinating and managing the lower level inspectorsPerforming work under the general supervision of the Project AdministratorRelies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsSets own project deadlinesProvides on the job training to new employeesMonitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection dutiesPerform daily field inspections and maintains inspection recordsParticipates in punch lists, testing, and commissioningTracks quality assurance progressProvides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers
