Implant Sewers Wanted for Biotechnical Assembly / Starts at $27/Hr.

Capstan Medical is looking for production sewers to work in our West Side Santa Cruz facility!

Capstan Medical is in development of a heart valve replacement therapy. Implant production is done by hand, using hand sewing processes on a microscopic scale. Duties include straight stitching using a needle holder, done under a microscope. Training may be provided to the right candidates.

Essential skills are:

-The ability to hand stitch using a needle holder (tweezers)

-Comfortable using a microscope for long periods of time.

-OK with repetitive motion.

-Honest and reliable.

-Hard working

-Comfortable with working in a clean room environment

-Good attitude, willing to learn, and work hard

Candidates without experience may take a sewing test at our facility. Passing applicants without experience may start at $27/Hr. Applicants with med device experience may earn more.
