Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in various trades, including carpentry, drywall, roofing, welding, concrete, and finishing work. This role involves performing a wide range of construction tasks on commercial and residential projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The Tradesman will collaborate with project managers, inspectors, and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and to specifications.

Responsibilities:

Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively.

Perform construction tasks such as framing, drywall installation, stucco application, concrete forming and finishing, and masonry work.

Install fixtures including doors, cabinets, glass panels, trim carpentry elements, and countertops.

Execute demolition, restoration, remodeling, and renovation activities with precision.

Apply caulking, plastering, painting, and other finishing techniques to achieve desired aesthetics.

Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations.

Maintain a clean and organized work site throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaborate with construction management on project estimations using construction estimating skills.

Qualifications:

Clean Background Check.

Reliable Transportation.

Proven experience in multiple construction trades such as carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), masonry (concrete finishing), roofing (shingles or flat roof systems), welding (arc or MIG), flooring installation (tile or hardwood), and general remodeling.

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, scaffolding safety procedures, and heavy equipment operation.

Knowledge of construction management principles is a plus.

Experience with construction inspection processes is desirable.

Strong understanding of building codes and safety standards in the construction industry.

Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions on different types of construction sites.
