Sous Chef/Line Cook
Vegetate is a new, plant-based, 5 star restaurant in Wailua and we are looking for back of house team player(s).
Qualifications:
Strong work ethic and passion for the culinary and beverage arts.
Desire to be a part of a new and exciting business that supports healthy food options and food sovereignty
Previous experience is a plus. but we will train the right person
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines is a plus but not required
Available to work weekends and most holidays
Responsibilities include:
Prepare recipes to ensure consistency and quality.
Cook menu items efficiently on the line during service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station
Work closely with the kitchen and front of house team to ensure smooth service, communicating effectively at all times.
Provide assistance to other team members when needed and help promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Assist with inventory management, minimizing waste and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.
Follow all health and safety regulations.
Hours: 7:30-3, 11-3 will be opening for dinner SOON 5-8pm
Pay is competitive
