Experienced Restoration Masons

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Restoration Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in masonry restoration and repair, with a strong commitment to quality workmanship and job site safety. This role requires reliable transportation and the ability to work a consistent 40-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform masonry restoration work including brick, stone, and mortar repair

Repoint, tuckpoint, and replace damaged masonry units as needed

Match existing materials, colors, and finishes for historical and structural accuracy

Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and masonry equipment

Erect and dismantle basic scaffolding as required

Follow project plans, specifications, and safety guidelines

Maintain a clean and organized job site

Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Qualifications & Requirements:

Proven experience as a mason, preferably in restoration or historic masonry

Strong knowledge of masonry materials, techniques, and best practices

Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor in various weather conditions

Reliable transportation to and from job sites (required)

Availability to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week (required)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with historic preservation projects

OSHA safety training or similar certifications
