General Restoration Technician
Job Description:
We are a full-service cleaning and restoration company currently seeking a General Restoration Technician in Westchester, NY. Our company specializes in water mitigation, sewage mitigation, fire restoration, mold remediation and reconstruction services in both residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities:
Provide labor such as controlled demolition, contents manipulation and detailed cleaning on water, sewage, fire, mold remediation, bio-hazard and post construction cleaning jobs.
Knowledge of using moisture meters to determine surfaces containing moisture in order to create a plan for demolition.
Perform demolition of structural damage to properties with the use of hand and power tools.
Experience with setting up restoration equipment following IICRC guidelines.
Load materials, tools, and equipment on to work vehicles and properly set up the equipment on job sites.
Provide a daily cleaning of the job site in order to maintain a clean and organized appearance.
Take responsibility for taking job notes, equipment counts and pictures for each job and log it properly into our job management app.
Provide daily vehicle maintenance and organization – vehicle cleaned, restocked, and ready for an emergency response.
Communicate with project managers to ensure proper execution and completion of jobs.
Requirements:
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Capability to work in unfavorable conditions such as tight crawlspaces, attics, raw sewage floods, etc.
Willingness to work 10 hour days (7am to 5pm).
Availability for emergency work after hours and on weekends including on-call shifts.
Ability to pass a "fit test" for proper fit of a respirator if required at the job site
Restoration experience preferred.
IICRC certifications a plus.
Ability to communicate properly with other technicians, project managers and office staff.
Pay Rate:
Hourly rate is based upon experience. Overtime rates will apply once 40 work hours within a week has been met.
401k and 10 days of PTO available after one year of employment.
