Restaurant Cashier / Front Counter Staff – $17/hr + Tips

We are looking for a reliable and friendly cashier/front counter staff member to join our restaurant team in Ridgewood, Queens.

This role is ideal for someone who has experience working at a register, enjoys interacting with customers, and can handle a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Operate the cash register accurately

Take customer orders in person (and phone/online if needed)

Provide friendly and professional customer service

Handle payments (cash, card, POS system)

Keep the front counter area clean and organized

Assist with basic restaurant tasks as needed

Requirements

Some prior experience as a cashier or in a restaurant (preferred)

Strong communication and customer service skills

Friendly, professional attitude

Reliable and punctual

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
