Private Homecare - Providence

I am a 58 year old disabled engineer with ALS living at home with my

wife and we currently need to fill 3 day shifts which are:

Monday 1pm-9pm

Tuesday 10am-9pm

Sunday 10am-8pm

We prefer to fill all three shifts with one person but will consider only 2 shifts, Sunday and Monday or Sunday and Tuesday. The Sunday shift is mandatory and must be covered by anyone applying for the position.

I need hoyer transfers to and from bed with a simple electric hoyer.

Because I am on a ventilator, I also need suctioning once in a while.

While ventilator experience is preferred, it is not required, we can

train on this. ALS experience is welcome as is CNA certification.

Experience with home care and disabled care is required.

Other duties are bathing in a chair (morning shift), tube feeding and

chair adjustments. I still do computer work after the morning routine.

I am fairly independent much of the day, but also enjoy interacting

with my caregivers.
