Assembly Technician I - Cartridge$24/hourTHIS IS A TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT THROUGH MID MARCHShifts Available:Day Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:00am–3:30pm, with occasional overtime on SaturdaysSwing Shift: Monday–Friday, 1:30pm–11:00pm, with occasional overtime on Saturdays (swing shift transitions to day shift starting mid-February)Position SummaryThe Assembly Technician I is responsible for manufacturing instrumentation and consumables. The role involves working within established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to develop and follow best practices for product assembly and inventory management.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSet up and clear production lines at the beginning/end of runsAccurately document activities and data in Batch Records and Device History Records (DHRs)Ensure completeness and accuracy of all documentation and recordsAssemble products according to technical instructions, drawings, and specificationsAssess quality of parts and materials used in productionPerform inventory of parts and tools usedFollow all company SOPs and directives related to assembly and productionProvide feedback and suggestions for process improvementsTest and inspect finished products for quality and defectsMaintain tools and equipment used for assemblyKeep workspace and equipment clean and well-maintainedEducation, Qualifications, and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 1 year of assembly experience preferred OR 2+ years in a collaborative or instruction-based work environmentExperience in an FDA-regulated or ISO manufacturing environment with GMP knowledge preferredAbility to reliably follow protocols, written instructions, and SOPs while meeting quality standardsBasic computer proficiency (MS Office, internet, email)Excellent hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detailAdaptable to changing needs, workplace demands, and process improvementsCapable of setting up and operating small automated machinery (training provided) and hand toolsExperience handling small or intricate parts preferredStrong teamwork and interpersonal skillsPhysical RequirementsRepetitive motions primarily involving computer useAbility to lift up to 25 poundsAbility to sit or stand for extended periodsEffective communication skills requiredOccasional use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in lab, manufacturing, or warehouse environmentsIf interested, please send a resume with relevant experience to Melissa Doughertymeld227@kellyservices.com ONLY RESUMES WITH RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND A STABLE JOB HISTORY WILL BE CONSIDERED
