Staff Accountant In-Person Position

This is an in-person position in Olympia WA.

Boutique full-service accounting firm is seeking a motivated team member to join us! We specialize in tax, accounting, and payroll services for small businesses and are looking for someone who thrives in a structured, professional environment.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare Month-end close for small business clients using QuickBooks Online (QBO) and detailed workpapers (full trial balance tie-out).

Prepare payroll and payroll reports.

Prepare Washington State B&O and Sales Tax Returns, including local city B&O returns.

Prepare federal income tax returns: 1040, 1120-S, 1120, and 1065.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong computer skills.

Passion for the accounting profession.

Willingness to learn and figure things out.

Ability to quickly grasp new technology.

AA or BA in Accounting.
