Part-Time Tasting Room Associate - Weekend Focus

We are a small wine company producing Rhone Varietals along the California Central Coast, seeking an experienced part-time tasting room associate for our location in the Funk Zone. Join our dynamic, flexible, and fun environment with plenty of room for growth!

Schedule:

- 4-15 hours per week

- WEEKEND AVAILABILITY REQUIRED (Friday-Sunday)

- Occasional weekday shifts and private events

What You’ll Do:

- Guide guests through tasting flights and educate them about our wines and brand story

- Provide exceptional customer service in a welcoming environment

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tasting room and bar area

- Operate cash register and replenish merchandise

- Assist with opening, closing, and daily tasting room operations

- Support private tastings and special events

What We’re Looking For:

- Minimum 1 year experience in wine industry, tasting rooms, wine retail, or wine-focused restaurants

- Must be available to work weekends (Friday-Sunday)

- Knowledge of wine varietals and wine service

- Comfortable talking with guests and making recommendations

- Pleasant, energetic, and professional demeanor

- Enthusiasm for customer service and willingness to expand wine knowledge

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

- Flexible availability for weekdays, evenings, and some holidays
