General Manager
Position Summary
The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall leadership, operational management, and strategic direction of a high-profile motorsport race. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional events for fans and participants. The GM will lead a cross-functional team, internally and externally, to plan, execute, and evaluate all track activities, special events, and community engagement initiatives.
Requirements
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with a history of building trust and confidence with stakeholders.
7+ years of leadership experience, preferably in sports management, venue operations, or large-scale event planning.
Ability to identify growth opportunities and new revenue streams.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and P&L management as well as a proven track record of successful negotiations.
Ability to work a non-traditional work schedule is required. Schedule requirements include nights, weekends, and on-call availability to meet business needs.
