PRESSURE DELIVERIES — CANNABIS DELIVERY DRIVER (DMV)

Serious applicants only. This is a career-track role, not a quick-gig.

Location: Washington, DC (Southeast). If you’re uncomfortable working in SE DC, do not apply.

Who We Are

Pressure Deliveries is a high-end, fast-moving cannabis delivery service built for customers who expect professionalism, communication, and consistency. We’re also evolving into a Cannabis Content Research Lab—meaning this role is about to become bigger than “drop-offs.” In the next 3–6 months, drivers will help deliver a tour-style customer experience as part of our research-driven delivery model.

The Role

You are the final layer of trust between our company and our customer. You will:

Deliver cannabis orders safely and professionally

Handle cash accurately (counting + change)

Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch in real time

You MUST be able to:

Work 8–10 hour driving shifts consistently (with breaks)

Show up on time every scheduled shift and commit long-term

Communicate quickly and professionally by text + phone calls (hands-free while driving)

You MUST have:

DMV local knowledge (must be from DC / Maryland / Virginia)

An active driver’s license + active insurance

Your own vehicle OR a rental in your name

No borrowed cars (not in your name = not allowed)

Vehicle must have NO mechanical issues and NO body damage

A reliable smartphone with data (GPS, calls, texting, photo proof, updates)

Background Check Policy

We run a background check. Any theft / stealing / fraud-related history is an automatic disqualifier due to cash handling and customer trust.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

On-time pickup, route planning, and clean delivery execution

Cash handling + accurate end-of-shift reporting (no mistakes, no “my bad”)

Customer communication: ETA calls, delays, confirmations, issue resolution

Professional presentation: polite, alert, organized, and respectful every stop

Documentation: order confirmation steps, required updates, and compliance rules

Pay Structure

It’s daily pay, cash paid out at the end of your shift. This is how the pay structure works: it’s a sliding scale of $20–$30 an hour. Every day you walk home with money in your pocket. Every route you’re picking up cash, but you bring all the money back and we calculate your delivery fees. We keep track throughout the day and we pay you out at the end of your shift — cash — no taxes taken out.

It’s $20–$30 depending on how busy it is for the day. The more orders you take, the more money you make. You’re there for a certain amount of time 8 to 10 hours and you make at least $20 an hour — that’s your bare minimum.

Example:

If I’m here for eight hours, there’s a minimum I’m supposed to take home: $160. If I take 10 orders and my delivery fees only came up to $120, the company owes me $40 more so that I can make my minimum. If it was busy and I took 15 orders and I made $190, the company doesn’t owe me anything because I made all my money from customers because I took 15 orders — I made my minimum plus more — so the company doesn’t pay out anything. That’s how it works. Very simple.

You can make tips, but you must be professional. You must be on point. You must be prompt. You must be everything right. This is a high-end industry—people love to spend—and we are trying to turn it into a restaurant, a high-end restaurant type of approach for cannabis.
