Cleaner & Day Porter

We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated individual to join our team as a Cleaner and Day Porter for a secure facility in Wilmington.

This role is ideal for someone who works best independently and can manage their own daily tasks without constant supervision.

Position Details

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Compensation: Starting at $16.00/hour

Growth: Automatic $0.50/hour raise after a successful 90-day probationary period.

Location: Conveniently located near the intersection of Shipyard Blvd and Carolina Beach Road.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, and entry points.

Monitor the facility throughout the day to address immediate cleaning needs (spills, trash removal, etc.).

Manage supplies and inventory with a self-guided approach to daily priorities.

Ensure all high-touch surfaces are sanitized and presentable for staff and visitors.

Requirements

Security: Must be able to pass an extensive background check. This is a non-negotiable requirement due to the sensitive nature of the materials and documents handled within the facility.

Mindset: Must be self-motivated and self-directed. You will be expected to "see the work" and take initiative without being told what to do.

Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential for this daytime role.
