Maintenance Supervisor
Rosboro is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our manufacturing facility located in Veneta, OR. The ideal candidate would be a hands-on, people-focused maintenance leader with a strong technical foundation.
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading daily maintenance operations and supervising a team of skilled millwrights and electricians to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operation. This role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinates work to minimize downtime, supports production needs and enforces safety and maintenance standards. The supervisor serves as a key link between maintenance and production, balancing hands-on technical support with planning, leadership, and continuous improvement responsibilities.
Key Functions:
Supervise, coach, and develop a team of millwrights and electricians.
Assign work, prioritize maintenance activities, and manage daily schedules.
Enforce safety standards, company policies, and best maintenance practices.
Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and support production.
Drive equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and plant safety regulations.
Coordinate contractors, shutdowns, and capital projects as needed.
Maintain inventories and ordering of parts.
Maintenance record keeping
Employee timekeeping
Required Skills and Knowledge
Strong working knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical systems. Preference will be given to those with Journeyman level certificate as an Electrician and/or Millwright.
Proven leadership and people-management skills
Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues under production pressure.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, drawings.
Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with production, engineering, and management teams.
Basic computer skills
