I’m a late-30s quadriplegic male graduate student seeking a skilled, dependable caregiver/personal assistant for a consistent weekday schedule in North Hollywood. This is an active care role supporting my daily needs at home and accompanying me to UCLA’s campus. I value reliability, attentiveness, and honest communication, and I’m looking for someone who treats caregiving as professional, responsible work.

Schedule (Fixed):

Tuesdays: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM (UCLA campus/classes)

Wednesdays: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM (home-based, active care throughout)

Fridays: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (campus in the morning; home in the afternoon)

This role is not compatible with fluctuating schedules or last-minute availability changes.

What the Job Entails:

Personal care assistance (feeding meals, passive range of motion exercises, etc.)

Driving my accessible van

Errands and light administrative help

Day-to-day support at home and on campus

Paid training is provided; prior caregiving or personal assistant experience is preferred.

Able to commit consistently through the end of the academic year

Comfortable in a home with pets (I live with my mother, a friendly orange tabby, and a golden cavapoo)

Valid driver’s license required
