Key Responsibilities
Design, prepare, and execute a daily range of pastries, desserts, viennoiseries, and baked goods
Develop new recipes and seasonal menus while maintaining signature items
Ensure consistency, precision, and high presentation standards across all products
Manage set up , production schedules, and daily workflow
Select and source high-quality ingredients; manage inventory and minimize waste
Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards (HACCP)
Supervise, train, and mentor pastry staff or assistants when applicable
Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to align offerings with brand identity
Monitor food costs, portion control, and production efficiency
Required Qualifications
5 years experience as a Pastry Chef or Pastry Cook in a professional food establishment
certified pastry degree from a culinary school
Strong knowledge of classical and modern pastry techniques
Solid understanding of doughs, creams, chocolates, sugars, and baked goods
High level of organization, precision, and time management
Strong work ethic and ability to work on fast paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Formal pastry or culinary training
Experience in artisan bakery, fine dining, or hotel environments
Knowledge of alternative flours, reduced-sugar formulations, or specialty diets
