Part-Time Administrative Assistant for Home Care Agency
Job description:
Position: Office Assistant
Location: Tucker, GA
Wage: $19.00/hr
Hours: On-call every other weekend with company phone for assistance
9:00-4:00 Three days per week with potential to go full time after 60 days.
Tuesday Wednesday and Friday. Potentially, you will rotate Mondays for Tuesdays.
Payday: Bi-weekly
Travel: Some travel required (Normally to perform background checks, package and/or office supply pick ups. No more than 10-15 miles)
Key Responsibilities:
Client Care:
Assist with client intakes, assessments, and wellness visits.
Collaborate with clients, families, care partners, and referral sources for satisfaction.
Onboarding:
Assist with background checks, orientations, and new hire paperwork.
Manage client and caregiver schedules and ensure good caregiver-client matches.
Enter shifts into proprietary scheduling software and provide coaching to caregivers.
Clerical:
Perform office tasks like filing and answering phones.
Maintain databases for clients and employees.
Use mid-level to advanced Microsoft Office tools for day-to-day tasks.
Knowledge of computer navigation and be technology savyy.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in home care, administrative assisting, schedule management, and office assisting.
Proven background in care management, particularly with geriatric populations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor's in business administration, healthcare administration, Human Resource Management or related fields
· Familiar with basic medical terminology, insurance company operating procedures, regulations, billing requirements and government reimbursement programs.
· Able to recognize, analyze and prioritize problems; experience with process improvement theories.
· Displays an outgoing, warm, and helpful attitude
· Able to communicate clearly with patients over the telephone and in person.
· Resolve any medical-administrative problems and keep lines of communication open with staff to ensure high employee morale and a professional, healthful clinic atmosphere
