About Limelight Hawaii
Limelight Hawaii is a world-class entertainment and dining venue in Honolulu, offering nightly shows, signature cocktails, à la carte dinner service, and full banquet experiences spanning breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We are seeking a proactive and experienced Event Sales Manager to drive revenue, manage client relationships, and coordinate seamless events from private functions to ticketed concerts.

Salary: $60,000 annually
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development: Source, qualify, and secure new banquet, catering, and concert event business; maintain and grow client relationships; develop customized event proposals and packages; conduct venue tours for prospective clients.
Event Coordination & Execution: Serve as primary liaison between clients and internal departments; collaborate with Culinary and AV teams; create and distribute detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs); oversee on-site event execution to ensure quality and safety.
Financial & Administrative: Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets; prepare contracts, proposals, and post-event billing; track sales activity, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts; monitor event profitability.
Marketing & Partnerships: Collaborate with marketing team to promote banquet offerings and concert series; participate in trade shows and networking events; maintain knowledge of competitive venues and industry trends.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years of sales experience in banquet, catering, entertainment, or venue sales (concert or event space experience highly desirable).
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in event sales systems (e.g., Caterease, Toast, Placez) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedule.
