Catering Sous Chef
Bacchanal Wine is looking for a passionate Catering Sous Chef to assist with leading the catering kitchen staff and daily production and service needs of our catering food program. This position is very hands-on with expectations to perform prep and on site shifts, while also having duties that include ordering, receiving, menu creation and weekly catering event meetings.
Our menu is inspired by the cuisines of wine producing countries. We take our time to ensure all food is prepared well, seasonally inspired and vegetable.
The ideal candidate is eager to jump in and promoting a healthy work environment. We prioritize hospitality and equity and expect all leaders of staff to exude warmth and professionalism to all they encounter. Leading staff with kindness, respect and dignity is an upmost priority for us and we wish to work with someone who comes with this skill set.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time
Physical tasks include reaching, bending, stretching, walking up and down stairs
& lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs at a time

The hiring process will involve two interviews, preparing a dish for the chef and a full day paid stage.
