Commercial Service Electrician

Candidate to be able to Maintain, troubleshoot, replace and install electrical circuits and equipment. Tasks include the ability to Inspect and test electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communication and power circuits. Complete service calls in residential, commercial, industrial, and HOA settings. These tasks also include new installation and troubleshooting of existing electrical equipment and material. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Completes work in conformance with NEC and local building codes.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Must have at least ET

- Knowledge of 2019 NEC, ability to navigate it.

- Understanding wire, conduit sizing and how to make adjustments for environmental factors.

- Ability to interpret lighting controls systems and trouble as applicable

- Ability to interact with tenants and customers to gain access to electrical rooms as needed

- Ability to interact with property managers and maintain a professional appearance and discussion

- Ability to interact with technical support both online and via phone for procedures on equipment

- Experience with installing all sizes of conduits

- Experience reading and interpreting one line drawings and electrical schematics

- Ability to use a variety of electrical tools safely and accurately

- Must have working knowledge and experience replacing electrical services and distribution panels.

- Must have experience replacing ballasts and lamps

- Ability to install various types of industrial equipment

- Must work well independently and in a team environment with strong communication skills.

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb, and walk ladders, etc.

- Must be able to document daily activities and submit documents daily.

- Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts.

- Must have a valid drivers license

- Able to pass background check and drug test

- At least 3 years experience preferred.

Position Type and Hours of Work

Full time position.

Monday- Friday (hours vary per job). Overtime may be required passed and working on weekends.
