Live-In CNA Position with Private Studio Apartment – Atlanta
A professional couple is seeking an experienced, reliable, and compassionate CNA to provide in-home care for a disabled adult woman with a neurological disorder. This is a long-term live-in opportunity that combines paid caregiving hours with a private, highly subsidized studio apartment.
The wife has a neurological disorder and is looking for someone to help with daily care to include bathing, dressing & grooming, toileting, transferring & mobility and someone who will facilitate and support her involvement in activities such as aqua therapy, speech therapy, continued educational activities, as well as contributions to support groups. There are no cognitive issues. She has speech limitations and occasionally uses a speech-generating device to help with communication. She lives at home with her husband, who works remotely. The household includes 2 cats.
COMPENSATION AND HOUSING
Hourly pay: $14–$17/hour for scheduled caregiving hours
Housing: Fully furnished private studio apartment with separate entrance (see photo)
Market value: $1,200/month
Offered at: $300–$400/month
All utilities included
$500 security deposit
Occupancy: Single occupant only (no partners, children, or pets)
Housing is provided as a benefit and is separate from hourly compensation.
SCHEDULE
Regularly scheduled caregiving hours (to be discussed during interview)
Occasional weekend shifts may be required
When not scheduled or on duty, time is the caregiver’s own
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
CNA certification and relevant experience required
Must be willing to undergo a thorough background check
12-month lease commitment required
One-month non-live-in probationary period PRIOR to transitioning into the live-in arrangement
