Candidate Technologist - Transport Planning

Here is what you will be doing:As a Candidate Technologist in our Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering Team, you will be responsible for undertaking specialised analysis and developing traffic / transportation designs on a diverse array of infrastructure projects. These projects will encompass major roads, public transport systems, non-motorized transport, railway corridors, ports and harbours, as well as urban developments across Africa and beyond. Technical Excellence:Contributes to development of designs by gathering, correlating and analysing engineering data using computer software and established procedures and standards.When possible, collects and analyses information from discipline and interdisciplinary project models.Develops the design content with support by applying both design and technical knowledge to ensure the production of high-quality outputs by following project timelines.Works on well-defined and routine engineering assignments involving calculations, specifications, sketches, diagrams, specific discipline models, drawings, reports and tender documents.Performs work under the agreed-upon budget and schedule with supervision.Coordinates with other team members as applicable for the design process's continuity.Maintains and develops a high level of technical skills and abilities, ensuring the quality of production for accuracy.
