Associate Group Leader – Analytical Sciences

Eurofins PSS is seeking an Associate Group Leader – Analytical Sciences to support a dynamic biopharmaceutical testing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for executing analytical testing while supporting daily lab operations, team performance, and project delivery.The ideal candidate combines strong HPLC technical expertise with emerging or demonstrated leadership experience in a regulated laboratory setting.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical / Laboratory ResponsibilitiesPerform and support analytical testing including:HPLC (RP-HPLC, IEX, SEC)CE-SDS, CIEF, Jess (as applicable)Support method development, troubleshooting, and qualification activitiesAnalyze, process, and verify data with strong attention to data integrityMaintain timely documentation in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems (DLIMS)Ensure routine sample turnaround timelines (target: 14 days)Support characterization studies for early- and late-stage programsWork with potent compounds (OEB4/OEB5), including ADC-related materialsLeadership & Operational ResponsibilitiesSupport oversight of daily team performance and workflow coordinationAssist with onboarding and training of new team membersParticipate in candidate interviews and hiring activitiesHelp ensure coverage, efficiency, and adherence to quality standardsPromote a collaborative, positive, and accountable team cultureCommunicate priorities, updates, and expectations across the teamBalance hands-on lab work with leadership and administrative responsibilities
